I have finished the installation but when I tried to login to admin, I keep getting the prompt "Invalid login"

Can we not manage our password from the database as usual?

Thank you for your response but please answer why I still can't login although the correct password and login id is entered.

The options are to update the sender's email address in the script manually from the database or reinstall the script.

For security reasons, the password is encrypted one-way and currently, there is no other method to reset the password except using a password reset link or re-install the script.

For the security reason, you can not update or change the password directly from the database, it's one-way encryption to secure your admin area (and also member area).

The "invalid login" message means username and/or password was entered incorrectly. Both are case sensitive.

If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password form.

Hi I used the forgot password as suggested but I'm not receiving any mail to reset the password. I made sure that the registered email was used to send the reset link.

Hi I have checked the linked answer, but since we are suppose to receive the password reset mail through the script we will not be able to control the sender's mail address to reset the password. How will you suggest to fix that?

Reinstalling did the trick. And I managed to find out why I was getting the invalid login despite using the correct password (Just in-case someone needs a reference in the future). At the first installation I point the host to my actual host server ie; server.webhost-premium.xxx, reinstalled twice with the same method, still got the error, but everything worked when i keep the host as "local host".

Now I'm just playing around with the admin dashboard. Super bravo.
