Administrator should never be a Referrer

Hi Author,

I notice several times that when I share my referral URL with friends, some of them, their referrer is the Administrator. So I deleted their account and I ask them to register again. I don't want to do this again all the time if it will happen again. The administrator should never be a Referrer.

Hello,

There are some reasons that may cause the referral link "does not work" when used to register, most of them are because of invalid URL format, the referrer account is not active, the referrer does not eligible for new referrals, and/or the referral link is not used during registration.

To allocate the issue, we need to know your referral link and also your site settings.

If you do not want the administrator to be a referrer, you can use random referrer and/or visitor referrer options (Admin CP => General Settings page).

By the way, are you sure using v1.3? if so, you are using outdated version. The latest version is available to download for free by an active license.

No, I don't want to enable the Random Referrer because it will create more problems later. I'm sure members will complain.

To correct the error I have a suggestion. You should add another function where the Admin can correct the wrong Referrer. See the attached files in your email.

Please find ways to solve the problem.

Please provide the referral URL, also provide the screenshot of it, that displays member referral link and status (User CP dashboard) and Payplan Settings page (especially from the Structure and Other tabs).
