if member chooses a different plan to their referrer they get moved to front line. How to prevent this?

we have multiple plans available to our members and would like members to be able to select any of these plans and remain as they are in the geneology so that the commissions flow upwards correctly. currently if a new member selects a different plan to their referrer they are moved to the frontline which means the referrer and their upline will not receive any comm. our 2 plans are identical except the 2nd plan is a bit more expensive as it caters for members who live outside of our borders.

We are running on a regular license but preparing to upgrade to the extended license. will this capability work correctly under the extended license or will we need to make other changes?

If you are using a regular license, members cannot earn commission from different plans.

The Plus/Extended license allows you to use the cross-plan commission feature where members can continue to earn commissions from referrals on a different plan although on a different genealogy.
